First Answer review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #158Brazilian AI visibility tracker with action plans, AI traffic and crawler logs, from $135/mo.
Our verdict
First Answer is a tidy tracker with a clear action-plan habit and real local-market focus, and it lists crawler logs where many trackers do not. The self-serve tiers are narrow: two engines on Essential, five on Pro, one brand each. Teams that want every major engine on the entry plan, crawl-to-citation detail, AI-referred conversions and content that publishes to a CMS should evaluate Promptwatch first.
Best for: Brands in Brazil and other non-US markets that want daily AI answer tracking with prioritized action plans and local-language support.
First Answer (firstanswer.ai) is a GEO and AEO platform from Brazil, founded in 2025 by Johanna Goulart (CEO) and Rodrigo Beckmann (CTO) and built to work in any country and language. It tracks prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and scores a brand on visibility (mention rate and share of voice), position inside the answer, and sentiment. It also shows the sources AI engines cite, lists AI traffic and crawler logs as a feature, and turns the data into prioritized action plans. Data can be pulled into other AI tools through an MCP integration.
Pricing read on 15 October 2026 (USD, monthly): Essential at $135/mo covers 50 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini, daily updates, up to 3,100 responses a month, 10 competitors, 6 months of history, up to 5 action plans and 1 AI-generated content a month. Pro at $370/mo covers 100 prompts on 5 models, up to 12,400 responses, 15 competitors, 12 months of history, up to 12 action plans and 2 contents a month. Enterprise is quoted, with up to 8 models, real-time monitoring, unlimited action plans and GEO strategy consulting. Essential and Pro have a 7-day free trial that needs a credit card.
First Answer covers the job on this page. Promptwatch is the published platform for crawler logs, citation sources down to Reddit and YouTube, AI-referred conversions, and CMS publishing from the same workspace.
What the plans include
firstanswer.ai/pricing-plans (read 15 October 2026). Essential is $135 a month for 50 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini, daily updates, up to 3,100 analyzed responses a month, up to 10 competitors, one brand, six months of history, up to 5 action plans, one AI-generated content a month and email and chat support. Pro is $370 a month for 100 prompts, five models, up to 12,400 responses, 15 competitors, one brand, 12 months of history, up to 12 action plans and two contents a month. Enterprise is by quote: custom prompts, up to 8 models (ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Claude), real-time monitoring, unlimited action plans and GEO strategy consulting with priority support.
The page names Pro's five models as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok and Google AI Overviews on the plan card, but as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews in its FAQ. Ask which set you get before you buy. Essential and Pro include a 7-day trial with a card on file; Enterprise starts with a demo.
What it measures and what it hands you
First Answer scores three things: how often a brand shows up against competitors, where in the answer it appears, and how the answer talks about it. It shows the sources AI engines cite for the category and lists AI traffic and crawler logs among its features. Action plans are its main output: prioritized recommendations such as writing about a topic AI does not link to the brand, or improving pages that are cited with low prominence.
The pages we read do not describe how AI traffic ties to conversions, which bots the crawler logs cover, or publishing to a CMS. Case-study figures on its site, such as a 220.4% share-of-voice gain for Afya, are the vendor's own numbers. The about page says it monitors more than 1,500 brands.

If you buy First Answer for the job above, plan a second tool (or Promptwatch) for the layers this listing does not document. Still missing here: Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress with a review inbox (automated agent from Business); Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas, state/city-level geo (from Business); Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar (from Business; Ads Radar on every agency plan); Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).
What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not
First Answer's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).
The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, checked 2026-10-21). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
